PDFEliteTools provides free online PDF utilities. We design tools so that as much work as possible happens in your browser. When a conversion needs a server (for example PDF to Word or Word to PDF), files travel over HTTPS to our conversion API for a short job and are not kept as a personal document library.
Many organize and secure tools (merge, split, compress, rotate, unlock, password protect, and similar) process files with JavaScript libraries in your browser. In those cases the file contents are not uploaded to our servers for the main operation.
Your browser still loads our website assets (HTML, CSS, scripts). That is normal web traffic and is separate from uploading your PDF for conversion.
Office and some OCR-style conversions require server-side engines. Uploads use HTTPS. We process the file to produce a download and remove temporary working files after the job completes (or after a short retention window for failed jobs). We do not sell document contents.
Do not upload files you are not allowed to process with a third-party tool (restricted legal, medical, or confidential material under your own policies).
We may use cookies or similar technologies for basic site function, analytics, and advertising partners (for example Google AdSense) when enabled on the live site. Ad partners may set their own cookies according to their policies. Use your browser controls or our cookie banner (when shown) to manage preferences where available.
Servers may keep standard technical logs (timestamps, IP address, user agent, error codes) to keep the service reliable and to investigate abuse. These logs are not used to rebuild your PDF contents.
