Compare PDF

Compare two PDF files side-by-side. Highlights missing pages and estimates text similarity. Not an AI legal redline.

What this tool actually does

It runs a local comparison helper (not a generative AI model). Upload exactly two PDFs. You get a comparison file with page pairing, missing-page flags, and a text-similarity score. It will not invent clause-level legal redlines or “AI rewrite” the documents.

How to Compare Two PDFs

  1. 1

Upload the original PDF, then the revised PDF — exactly two files.

  2. 2

Process the pair. The helper checks page counts, extracts text where possible, and builds a side-by-side comparison PDF.

  3. 3

Download the comparison output and scan highlighted pages. Scanned image-only PDFs will have weaker text matching unless they already contain a text layer.

FAQ

Is this an AI PDF comparer?

No. The site used to advertise “AI comparison”; this page is honest about it. The engine is a browser-side diff of pages and extracted text, not a language model.

Why do I need two files?

A comparison is pairwise. One file cannot show insertions or missing pages. If you attach the wrong count, the tool stops instead of silently using the homepage uploader.
